The fibers used in this type of fabric include 60% Modacrylic which is an inherently flame retardant fiber that does not burn,
difficult to ignite and which self-extinguishes, providing natural flame resistance without the need for flame-retardant chemical treatment in the textile process.
The fibers are blended with 39% cotton for strength, and the fabric is anti-static by also incorporating 1% carbon fiber,
offering protection against electrostatic discharge hazards.
