Filters are an indispensable product for Panoramic masks and Semi-masks. These two products will only be effective if the filters are used.
The big advantage is the durability of the masks, since the filter can be changed easily, and the cost is affordable.
But there are filters for each type of mask, and each filter has a different purpose.
1. Filters for Gases and Vapors - Protection Levels
A1 - Organic Gases and Vapors, with boiling point >65ºC
Example: Working with solvents, paints, varnishes and adhesives...
A2 - As A1 but for higher concentrations of organic gases and vapors.
A1B1E1 - As A1 + Inorganic gases and vapors + Acid gases.
Exemplo: Work as A1 + Work as chlorine, bromine, acid
hydrocyanic, hydrogen sulphide and other acid gases.
A1B1E1K1 - As A1B1E1 + ammonia
Example: Jobs such as A1B1E1 + Jobs such as ammonia.
A2B2E1 - Like A1B1E1K1 but for higher concentrations.
AX - Organic vapors with boiling point <65ºC
Example: Working with low boiling point vapors, such as acetone or
diclorometano.
Hg P3 - Mercury
Example: Professional activities exposed to mercury vapors.

2. Particulate Filters - Protection Levels
P1 - Non-toxic particles, mists and fumes on a water or oil basis.
Example: Working with non-toxic particles, mists and fumes.
P2 - Toxic and potentially carcinogenic particles, fumes and aerosols on a water or oil basis.
Example: Working with soft woods, fiberglass, metals and plastics (including PVC) and oil mists.
P3 – Toxic and potentially carcinogenic particles, fumes and aerosols on a water or oil basis.
Example: Work with highly toxic metals, hard wood, biomedical active substances, as well as oil mists or welding on stainless steel.

Moldex P3 Rd S7000 and S9000 particle pre-filter
You can use only a particulate filter or a gas filter, but you can also combine the two. You end up with a gas filter and a particulate pre-filter.
